Earlier this year, we joined Taqeef on a 4-day content project in Foshan and Guangzhou, China, following a group of Middle Eastern influencers visiting Midea’s HQ and manufacturing facilities. The goal: to document the full experience — both the industrial and the cultural — through a mix of video and photography.
Our team at ITR Visuals handled everything on the ground: directing, filming, editing, and shooting stills as the group moved between factory tours and cultural experiences. We kept the tone raw and real — less polished corporate, more travelogue meets street-style vlog — to match both the influencers’ style and the region’s creative direction.
The trip wasn’t just about tech. Between walkthroughs of Midea’s R&D centers and smart production lines, the group also had the chance to explore local life. We filmed Taichi sessions with a local master, a Song Dynasty-style tea ceremony, dumpling making with a chef, and a visit to the HE Art Museum — all moments that added color and depth to the story. Capturing that contrast was key to how we shaped the visuals.
We worked lean, moving fast between locations while keeping things cinematic. A lot of the footage was handheld or lightly rigged, using available light and shooting in motion to keep the energy close to the experience. Photography followed the same rhythm: unposed, mid-action, documentary style.
You can see Taqeef’s posts about the trip on their Instagram and LinkedIn, where parts of our content are already live.
